Summary: Moveit helps Senders and Travelers arrange to send a Package. In this version your account, your messages, and the record of any agreed payment are kept on your device. We use your location only while you are using the app, and only photos you choose to attach. We do not sell your personal information, we show no ads, and we never collect card numbers. You can delete your Moveit data from Settings at any time.

1. Who we are

Moveit is a technology platform that connects Senders and Travelers. It is not a carrier or courier. Contact: support@moveit.app.

2. Information we collect

Account: your name, email, and profile details you enter (for example bio, zip, role preference). In this version the account is stored on your device.
Marketplace activity: your listings, offers, Messages, trip updates, ratings, and membership status (including the free month). These records are stored on your device.
Payment record: when a Sender and Traveler agree on an amount, the app keeps a record of that amount as Payment held on your device until delivery. The app does not collect or store card numbers and does not charge a card.
Location: only while you are using the app, and only after you allow it in Android. Used to pin pickups and drop-offs, show nearby trips on the map, and show trip progress. We do not collect location in the background.
Photos: only photos you take with the camera or choose through the Android photo picker, for example a handoff photo, a message attachment, or a profile photo. Moveit does not scan your photo library.
Device and settings: app version, language, theme, and preferences stored locally on your device.

3. How we use information

To run the app: match Senders with Travelers, show Messages and trip status, show maps, keep the record of agreed amounts, secure your account (including optional biometric unlock on your device), and send notifications if you allow them.

4. Sharing

With another user only as needed for a shipment (for example your name, the listing, and Messages you send them).
With Google services the app relies on, such as Google Maps to display maps and Google sign-in if you choose it. Those services follow their own policies.
When required by law, or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information.

5. No ads, no payment processor, no background checks

This version shows no advertising and uses no advertising ID. It does not use a payment processor, does not collect card numbers, and does not run background checks.

6. Storage, security and retention

Your Moveit data is stored on your device and stays there until you delete it, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Data you send over the network uses HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and data on your device is only as protected as your device.

7. Your choices and deleting your data

In the app: Settings → Delete account & data. This clears your local Moveit data (account, Messages, listings, payment records, profile) and signs you out. See how to delete your account. You can also turn off location, camera, or notifications at any time in Android settings; some features will stop working. Contact support@moveit.app with any privacy question or request.

8. Children

Moveit is for adults. You must be 18 or older. Moveit is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version in the app and on this page with a new version date.
